Joining the Global Compact: a firm step towards sustainability and social commitment

We are proud to announce that we have formalised our membership of the United Nations Global Compact, a global initiative that brings together companies from around the world to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By joining the Global Compact, we reinforce our commitment to the core principles of sustainability, human rights, decent work and anti-corruption - principles that guide our raison d'être. 

The Global Compact is the world's largest corporate responsibility initiative that invites companies to adopt principles in key areas such as human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. With the aim of achieving a more just and sustainable world, this network of companies works to promote positive change in global society.

This is a further step in promoting a positive impact both within our Co-operative and beyond in order to care for the value of our world together.
