The Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Ganadera del Valle de los Pedroches (COVAP) has won the first joint award in the category “Best Practice in Prevention Management” at the seventh edition of the Asepeyo Awards for Best Practice in Prevention. The ceremony took place in Zaragoza. These awards aim to recognize companies with excellent results in the area of occupational risk prevention.
At the ceremony, COVAP Chairman Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno was presented the award by Carlos Tortuero, Deputy General Director of Collaborating Entities with Social Security.
COVAP earned this distinction for its project: “Long Live the Healthy Company”, which primarily aims to promote healthy habits among its workers through four programs: Alimentación saludable, Ejercítate con Covap, Covap te cuida, and EquilíbraT.
Thanks to having implemented this initiative, COVAP has seen increased satisfaction and motivation among its employees, paired with stronger commitment, loyalty and ability to handle stressful situations. Increases have also been seen in workers’ sense of belonging to the company, performance, and productivity.
