The farming cooperative, La Cooperativa Ganadera del Valle de los Pedroches, COVAP has farms throughout a unique territory: La Dehesa. Considered to be one of the biggest holm oak forests in the world, with a surface area close on 300,000 hectares, these pasturelands are one of the largest and most densely-wooded natural habitats in the Ibérico peninsula.
This privileged landscape provides perfect conditions for raising our animals, particularly the Ibérico pig. The special micro-climate, which stamps its character and taste on all of the area's products, makes this land a genuine natural treasure.
